Since 1999, the executions of drug smugglers have become more common in Indonesia, Iran, China and Pakistan. In March 2018, U.S. President Donald Trump proposed executing drug traffickers to fight his country’s opioid epidemic. 32 countries impose the death penalty for drug smuggling. Seven of these countries (China, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore) routinely execute drug offenders. Asia and the Middle East’s tough approach contrasts with many Western countries who have legalized cannabis in recent years (selling cannabis in Saudi Arabia is punished by beheading).

No, death penalty should only be done to persons who have done heinous crimes. Drug traffickers should be put under strict rehabilitation centers and make sure that they receive a reasonable livelihood job for them to start they life over.
@9BMZ5TX2yrs2Y
Im neutral with the death penalty
@968VFXT2yrs2Y
that depends how deep they are in their ring, grunts can be slid off but high ranking officers need the cap
@9675TDV2yrs2Y
Yes, but only if our justice system is fixed and fair enough to avoid killing an innocent person.
@95KTQ4C2yrs2Y
If they are the top of the drug world, like drug lords
@94SW4BB2yrs2Y
No, they must be given a trial first instead of death penalty.

Death penalty is not enough. They should be tortured until they're begging for their death. Once begged, stop the torture then continue doing this once they got enough rest.

No, the punishment should fit the crime--there should be degrees of drug trafficking that take into account the amount of trafficked drugs, involvement in production, etc. Drug lords should receive more severe punishment/sentences than small-time traffickers, and deaths as a result of trafficking should be part of a different (additional) charge
